The Making of a Diversity Champion: Beyond the CEO

Building an inclusive culture and a diverse work environment has huge potential benefits for your bank. Strategy and advocates are two critical keys. While it’s true CEO and senior level commitment is vital, senior leaders can’t drive these results alone.

Sessions

Strategies for Communication & Ascension

In this interactive presentation, you will learn how to communicate in a way that gets your ideas heard and encourages the cooperation of others. Sarita will also share her top ten positive communication phrases and her two “green jello” principles of conflict resolution.

Pajama Program

The Pajama Program believes every child, no matter their circumstances, has the inherent right to a loving good night, complete with the comforting bedtime ritual of changing into pajamas and enjoying a story. After all, good nights are good days! WBA will be accepting donations of new pajamas and books for infants, children, and teens during the conference. A representative from the Pajama Program’s Southern California chapter will join us during the conference lunch to accept your generous donations.

We will be collecting pajamas and books for the children at the conference. The pajamas and/or books should be new and appropriate for newborns to youth/juniors (ages 0-16).

For more information please visit the Pajama Program website here or contact Montana Townsend at (916) 438-4427 or mtownsend@westernbankers.com.
